Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer 2 to develop and apply quality assurance protocols across materials, equipment, and finished goods. You will analyze inspection data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance with GMP/ISO standards and internal specifications.

The role involves documenting inspection results, supporting continuous improvement, and working with cross-functional teams to maintain high quality throughout manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Experience applying QA protocols/methods to inspect materials and finished products.
• Knowledge of GMP/ISO regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develops, revises, and applies QA protocols to inspect raw materials, production equipment, and finished products.
• Ensures activities follow manufacturing inspection sampling and SPC procedures.
• Analyzes inspection data, identifies trends, and recommends corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensures documentation and records meet internal and external specifications and standards.

Develops, evaluates, revises, and applies technical quality assurance protocols/methods to inspect and test in-process raw materials, production equipment, and finished products. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations. Performs analysis and identifies trends in the inspection of finished products, in-process materials and bulk raw materials, and recommends corrective actions when necessary. Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed. May assure compliance to in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs and ISO regulations. Evaluates and analyzes the efforts in organizing, documenting, and interpreting inspection support documents and records.

Partners with key team members to supervise data and continuously improve critical metrics, leveraging Generative AI insights where applicable.
