Job summary

Photon in Bengaluru, India is seeking a senior cloud infrastructure engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable cloud solutions on GCP. You will implement Terraform-based automation, strengthen security governance, and collaborate across teams to mitigate risks.

Ideal candidates have 5-8 years of experience with 2-4+ years in Terraform, and hands-on skills in GCP, Jenkins, Git workflows, Docker, and scripting. This role focuses on automated deployment and secure cloud operations.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of overall experience with 2-4+ years Terraform experience.
• Hands-on with Terraform, GCP, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git workflows), Docker.
• Deep understanding of cloud networking, security, IAM, and governance.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket.

Responsibilities

Job Requirements :

• 5-8 years of overall experience, with 2-4+ years of strong Terraform experience.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Terraform (advanced concepts: modules, state, workspaces)
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git workflows)
  • Docker and containerized environments
  • Strong scripting skills (Bash/Shell; Groovy is a plus).
• Deep understanding of:
  • Cloud networking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect)
  • Security, IAM, and governance
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket.
