Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Market Outlook Reports

• Develop and strengthen knowledge of global energy markets, including political, economic, and regulatory developments.
• Review power and energy sector policies across Asia Pacific, with emphasis on renewable energy and clean technologies.
• Engage with internal and external clients to explain market trends, key drivers, risks, and opportunities.

Market Modelling & Forecasting

• Collaborate with team members to develop, maintain, and improve electricity and gas market models.
• Support the delivery of forecast insights through reports, presentations, and visualisation tools.
• Apply innovative modelling and forecasting approaches to generate actionable insights for client decision-making.

Big Data Management & Analytics

• Analyse large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and meaningful energy market insights.
• Create better ways to deliver and visualise data for internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis to improve forecasts and deepen understanding of energy market dynamics.

Job-Related Competencies
