Job summary

Intel Corporation seeks an Emulation Engineer to advance pre-silicon verification by building and debugging emulation models on ZeBu platform. You will integrate hardware/software collateral, develop automation, and optimize emulation environments for SoC and IP bring-up.

Qualifications

• As a baseline, a B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or Electronics & Communication is required.
• 10–12 years of experience in emulation environments and model building.
• Experience with RTL debug, Verilog, and boot/reset debugging at SoC level.
• Hands-on with ZeBu, Veloce, Palladium platforms and Synopsys tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop emulation models from RTL designs using synthesis, partitioning, and routing tools.
• Integrate and debug hardware/software collateral for emulation testing of new features.
• Define and implement new capabilities, tools, and methodologies to enhance usability.
• Analyze and optimize emulation environments and test suites for performance.
• Collaborate with design, verification, validation, and software teams.
• Develop scripts and automation to support emulation utilization.
• Participate in SoC/IP bring-up and root cause analysis for testbench issues.
• Enhance hybrid emulation environments combining virtual platforms and models.
