Job summary

Capgemini Engineering is seeking an EMI Testing specialist for Coimbatore with 2–6 years of experience. You will prepare test setups, perform tests per plans, and maintain DUTs and accessories, across multiple shifts. Strong knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and automotive EMC standards is essential.

Proficiency in troubleshooting EMC test setups, interpreting OEM specifications, and basic soldering is required to ensure compliant test reports and accurate results.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 processes.
• Hands on knowledge of automotive EMC standards.
• Basic communication skills.
• Basic soldering skills.
• Good knowledge on hardware (RF, digital and analog).
• Ability to interpret standards and OEM specifications.
• Understanding to troubleshoot EMC test setups.

Responsibilities

• Prepare setup according to the setup document.
• Test according to the Test Plan / test specification.
• Maintain setup, DUT, accessories, and peripherals.
• Perform all activities across Morning, Night and Late Night shifts.
• Check accessories and instruments after calibration for completeness and accuracy.
• Handle/store device under test and instruments properly.
• Verify calibration reports and communicate any non-conformance.
• Conduct intermediate performance checks of instruments and accessories.
• Verify instruments per stated method and prepare reports.
• Maintain test setups and assist EMC PR in test reports.

Job description

EMI Testing | 2 years To 6 years | Coimbatore

Your Role

• Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 processes
• Hands on Knowledge of automotive EMC standards and sound knowledge on EMC Basics
• Basic communication skills
• Basic soldering skills
• Good knowledge on Hardware (Passive and Active components - RF, Digital and Analog)
• Able to interpret Standards/OEM specifications.
• Basic understanding to troubleshoot and resolve EMC test setup issues.

Your Profile

• Preparation of setup according to the setup document
• Testing according to Test Plan / test specification
• Maintenance of setup, DUT, accessories, and peripherals
• All the above activity must be performed in any of the BGSW shift planning (Morning, Night, Late Night shift)
• Checking the accessories and instruments that are received after calibration for its completeness and accuracy.
• Proper handling/usage/ storing of device under test, instruments, and accessories.
• Verification of Calibration reports and communicate to Calibration responsible if any no-conformance is observed.
• Intermediate performance check of instruments and accessories and report preparation
• Verification of instruments in accordance with stated method and procedure and report preparation
• Maintenance of test setups
• Support EMC PR in completion of test reports
