Job summary

HBeonLabs Technologies Private Limited in Noida is seeking an Embedded Software Developer (RTOS + OpenCPU) for on-site work. You will design, implement and maintain embedded software for IoT products, focusing on RTOS-based platforms and OpenCPU modules.

Responsibilities include developing firmware, integrating drivers and communication stacks (GSM, GPRS, GPS, RFID), debugging HW-SW issues, and collaborating with hardware, QA and product teams to ensure reliability and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, CS, or related engineering discipline.
• Experience with embedded software and microcontrollers/SoCs.
• Strong debugging and hardware-software integration skills.
• Familiarity with RTOS (FreeRTOS or similar) and OpenCPU.
• Ability to read schematics and collaborate with hardware teams.
• Proactive communication and documentation of designs and test cases.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Embedded Software Developer (RTOS + OpenCPU) role based in Noida. The Embedded Software Developer will design, implement, and maintain embedded software for IoT and electronics products, with a focus on RTOS-based and OpenCPU platforms. Responsibilities include developing firmware modules, integrating drivers and communication stacks (e.g., GSM, GPRS, GPS, RFID), and optimizing code for reliability, performance, and memory usage. The role involves debugging and troubleshooting hardware-software integration issues, using tools such as logic analyzers, debuggers, and protocol analyzers. The developer will collaborate closely with hardware, QA, and product teams to refine requirements, support prototyping, prepare technical documentation, and assist in product validation and field issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Embedded Software Programming and Embedded Software development for microcontrollers and SoCs on OpnCPU and RTOS.
• Proficiency in Software Development practices, including version control, build systems, and testing for embedded environments.
• Ability to perform effective Debugging of embedded systems, including hardware-software integration and RTOS-related issues.
• Experience in Software Design for real-time and resource-constrained systems, including modular architecture and code optimization.
• Hands-on experience with RTOS (e.g., FreeRTOS or similar) and OpenCPU-based platforms for GSM/4G modules.
• Good understanding of communication protocols (UART, SPI, I2C, TCP/IP, MQTT) and sensor/actuator interfacing.
• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or a related engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to read schematics, collaborate with hardware teams, and document designs and test cases clearly.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work on-site in a collaborative, fast-paced product environment.
