Job summary

UpNext Software is seeking an experienced Embedded Systems Developer to design, develop, and optimize firmware for embedded hardware across real-time systems and IoT edge devices. You will work with clients in the USA, UK, and Europe, delivering robust firmware and low-level software.

The role emphasizes clean C/C++ code, collaboration with hardware teams, and performance-aware optimizations, with remote work options and full-time employment. Remote India-based candidates are welcome.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on embedded C/C++ development.
• Strong knowledge of microcontrollers such as STM32, ESP32, Arduino, or NXP.
• Experience with RTOS (FreeRTOS, Zephyr, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, MQTT.
• Experience with hardware debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscope, logic analyzers).
• Understanding of power management, memory optimization, and boot loaders.
• Knowledge of Linux-based embedded systems is a plus.
• Experience with IoT platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub) is a plus.

Responsibilities
