Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced embedded software engineer to design and implement networked embedded systems with a focus on TCP/IP, MQTT, and secure communications.

You will develop firmware for microcontrollers/SoCs with networking capabilities, optimize stacks, and collaborate with hardware teams to integrate network interfaces.

Qualifications

• Experience with embedded C/C++ software for networked devices.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and networking layers.
• Familiarity with RTOS and network stacks (lwIP, FreeRTOS+TCP).
• Experience with Wi‑Fi, Ethernet, or cellular modules.
• Expertise in TCP/IP, UDP, and IPv6; TLS/SSL/DTLS security.
• Knowledge of embedded Linux networking.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement embedded software for network communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, MQTT, etc.).
• Develop firmware for microcontrollers and SoCs with networking capabilities.
• Optimize network stack performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers on network interface integration.
