The candidate will work on I/O virtualization, device passthrough, and para-virtualized drivers across Dom0/DomU environments. Responsibilities include optimizing Virtio paths, integrating drivers in Yocto, and performance tuning for virtualized I/O.

Qualifikationen

• I/O Virtualization expertise on embedded or automotive platforms
• Strong understanding of virtualized I/O architectures: Device passthrough
• Para virtualized drivers
• Shared I/O models
• Virtualization technologies: Xen Hypervisor (preferred) Dom0/DomU interaction
• Or KVM / QNX Hypervisor
• Virtio framework (blk, net, console, gpu as applicable)
• PCIe virtualization concepts: Passthrough
• SR-IOV (where applicable)
• IOMMU / DMA isolation
• Linux kernel driver development for virtualized or shared devices
• IPC mechanisms: shared memory, event channels, grant tables, DMA buffers
• Yocto Project building and integrating virtualized drivers
• Performance tuning for virtualized I/O paths
• Debugging across Dom0, DomU, and hypervisor layers
