Job summary

Silicon Stack in Pune, India is seeking a Senior Embedded Linux Engineer to lead development of embedded Linux applications for IoT and industrial protocols. You will work closely with firmware, hardware, and cloud teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

The role requires 7+ years of hands-on Embedded Linux experience, strong Yocto/C++ skills, and familiarity with Ethernet, Modbus, BACnet, REST APIs, and MQTT.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Embedded Linux development.
• Strong hands-on with Yocto build system and C++.
• Understanding of Ethernet, Modbus, BACnet and REST APIs.
• Experience with MQTT IoT cloud connectivity.
• Linux kernel/user space development and debugging.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate, and maintain embedded Linux applications using Yocto and C++.
• Design and implement industrial communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, BACnet, and REST APIs.
• Enable cloud connectivity for IoT systems using MQTT.
