Job summary

Lakshmi Machine Works (LMW) is seeking an Embedded Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and validate embedded hardware for industrial and automotive applications. You will create schematics, PCB layouts, and BOMs while selecting components and bringing boards to life on MCU-based platforms.

You will develop motor control hardware for stepper and BLDC motors, design power supplies, and ensure signal integrity and EMC/EMI compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in hardware design, schematic development, PCB design, and component selection.
• Experience with board bring-up and debugging of embedded systems.
• Experience designing analog and digital circuits including power supplies and interfaces.
• Knowledge of motor control hardware for Stepper and BLDC motors.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded hardware systems based on product requirements.
• Create schematics, BOMs, and PCB layouts.
• Select components, simulate circuits, and validate designs.
• Work on MCU/SoC-based hardware platforms (ARM Cortex, STM32, etc.).
• Develop motor control hardware and driver circuits for motors.
• Conduct board bring-up, debugging, and prototype validation.
• Analyze signal/power integrity and EMI/EMC.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, and software teams.
• Support testing, certification, and manufacturing activities.
• Provide hardware solutions for field issues.

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Hardware Engineer to design, develop, test, and validate embedded electronic systems for industrial, automotive, consumer, or IoT applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in hardware design, schematic development, PCB design, component selection, board bring-up, and debugging of embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop embedded hardware systems based on product requirements.
• Create detailed schematics, BOMs, and PCB layouts.
• Perform component selection, circuit simulation, and design validation.
• Work on microcontroller and processor-based hardware platforms.
• Develop analog and digital circuit designs including power supply, interfaces, and communication modules.
• Conduct board bring-up, hardware debugging, and prototype validation.
• Perform signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/EMI analysis.
• Collaborate with embedded firmware, mechanical, and software teams.
• Support product testing, certification, and manufacturing activities.
• Analyze field issues and provide hardware solutions.
• Design and develop motor control hardware for Stepper Motors and BLDC Motors.
• Develop motor driver circuits, power stages, and control interfaces.
