Job summary

Motherson Technology Services Limited in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Embedded C++ professional to lead middle-layer and application software development for Linux-based embedded solutions. You will work with modern C++ (C++11 and above) and apply OOP, design patterns and SOLID principles to build robust software.

The role requires 5–8 years of embedded C++ experience on Linux, strong debugging skills with GDB/Strace/Valgrind, and collaboration in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in embedded C++ system development on Linux platform.
• Excellent communication in English, both written and spoken.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's/Masters degree in Electronics Engineering, or related field.

5 to 8 years of experience in embedded C++ system development in Linux platform.

Tasks / Responsibilities: Will be responsible for Middle layer and Application software development for Linux embedded solutions with strong OOPs and C++ competencies.

Expected skill set:

• Strong in Modern C++ Programming skills, specifically C++ 11 and above
• Experience in multi-threaded application development, thread synchronization etc.>
• Linux - shell, Linux IPCs like D-Bus>
• Strong in OOPS concepts, Applied knowledge of SOLID Principles and Design patterns >
• Design experience - UML (Class, Sequence, Use case, Dependency, Component diagrams)>
• Testing and Validation experience - Unit Testing using Gtest/gmock , Static Code analysis, >
• Knowledge of different levels of tests
• Experience on Linux tools - Debugging (gdb, strace, valgrind), build tools (e.g. make, cmake, conan) , version control - git , CI/CD using Jenkins / Bamboo >
• Experience in Agile SW development
