Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a BE Electrical & Electronics engineer with 3–7 years of hands-on experience in FAS, PA, Security, BMS and GSS to support post-sales design and submittal activities. The role involves preparing shop drawings and schematics, coordinating with architects and clients, and ensuring high-quality delivery across CCTV, fire alarm, ACS and BMS systems.

Expect integration of IBMS and GSS systems, with a focus on precise documentation, rigorous QA, and timely project execution

Qualifications

• BE Electrical & Electronics or equivalent.
• 3–7 years hands-on experience in FAS, PA, Security, BMS & GSS.
• Attention to details and commitment to quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review technical specifications of projects to understand requirements.
• Prepare technical submittals and shop drawings for customer approval and execution.
• Prepare schematics, P&ID, isometrics; layout knowledge; hydraulic calculation, SOP, DDC schedule.
• Ensure project execution with zero customer complaints.
• Demonstrate competency in Fire alarm, CCTV, ACS, physical security, BMS for GA & shop drawings; gaseous systems (FM-200, CO2 & inert gas).
• Coordinate with architects, clients and contractors at various project stages.
• Demonstrate adherence to operational process requirements to drive efficiency.

What you will do

In this role, you will be part of Post Sales Design Support on BMS/ELV- CCTV, ACS & Fire Alarm System

How you will do it

• Review Technical specification of the projects to understand the project requirements.
• Preparation of technical submittal & Shop drawing for customer approval and execution.
• Preparation of schematics, P&ID, isometrics layout Knowledge in preparing hydraulic calculation, SOP, DDC schedule e.tc.
• Ensure execution of the projects with zero customer complaints
• Technical competency of below listed systems
  • Fire alarm, Security systems like CCTV, ACS & Physical security, Intruder alarm system. BMS for GA & Shop drawings.
  • Gaseous system (FM-200, CO2 & Inert gas)
• Co-ordination with the Architects, Clients and Contractors at various stages of the project
• Demonstrate adherence to operational process requirements to drive efficiency

What we look for
