Job summary

GE HealthCare in Bengaluru is seeking an Electronics Design Engineer with about 3 years in hardware product development to contribute to the design and development of advanced handheld ultrasound systems. You will work with senior engineers across the lifecycle, contributing to circuit design, hardware verification, board bring-up, testing, and manufacturing support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Approximately 3+ years of experience in electronics hardware design and product development.
• Fundamental knowledge of analog and digital circuit design.
• Experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools such as PSpice or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with board bring-up, debugging, testing, and laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, etc.).
• Familiarity with PCB design principles and hardware development processes.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative engineering environment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with Altium, Cadence, OrCAD, or similar EDA tools.

Working alongside senior engineers, you will contribute to the development of innovative handheld ultrasound products from concept through production, gaining exposure to design, verification, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing while building expertise in medical device electronics development.
