Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or diploma with applicable regulations.
  • Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
  • Experience in manufacturing maintenance environment preferred.
  • Proven hands-on maintenance experience with production equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day-to-day maintenance activities and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns in the machine shop.
  • Diagnose and resolve machine and equipment-related issues to ensure maximum uptime.
  • Execute Preventive Maintenance (PM), Predictive Maintenance (PdM), Corrective Maintenance (CM), and Emergency Maintenance (EM).
  • Update maintenance records and work orders in the Cummins MAXIMO system.
  • Monitor and improve equipment performance indicators such as Uptime, MTBF, and MTTR.
  • Maintain 5S standards and drive housekeeping improvements in the shop.

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system. Follows all process documentation and quality procedures. Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures. Performs quality inspections. Delivery Performs electrical repairs and maintenance of manufacturing equipment . Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills. Performs and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities. Conforms to applicable codes and standards to maintain, install, and operate electrical systems. Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks. Performs other duties as required to meet business goals. Identify and reduce manufacturing constraints Schedule maintenance activities around production requirements Solve problems and improve processes Participate in continuous improvement activities Teamwork Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams. Machine Programming - Creates factory floor machine programs by designing and implementing solutions to improve usage of machine and overall operation.

Manufacturing Knowledge - Demonstrates the knowledge of manufacturing by correctly implementing changes in current processes, equipment, and applications to meet the function's needs and contribute towards continuous improvement.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on‑the‑job experience.

Experience & Technical Skills

  • Hands‑on maintenance experience with CNC machines, robots, SPMs, washing machines, conveyors, nut runners, and other production equipment.
  • Strong working knowledge of FANUC and Siemens controllers.
  • Hands‑on experience with Siemens, Mitsubishi, and B&R PLC systems.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Experience in preventive, predictive, corrective, and emergency maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform day‑to‑day maintenance activities and troubleshoot equipment breakdowns in the machine shop.

  • Undertake maintenance improvement projects to enhance KPIs and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with LOTO procedures, risk assessments, work permits, and safety practices.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, PPE requirements, and workplace discipline standards.
  • Maintain 5S standards in the Machine Shop and Plant Engineering Department.
  • Drive housekeeping improvements and ensure a disciplined work environment.
  • Support maintenance operations across all three shifts as required.
