Role Overview : As an Electrical Electronics Integration Engineer, you will play a key role in integrating and validating avionics, battery management systems, chargers, power converters, and other critical electrical/electronic sub-systems for our eVTOL aircraft
You will be responsible for system-level integration, software-hardware co-design, communication interfaces, and testing, ensuring seamless operation across LRUs (Line Replaceable Units)
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to system architecture design and electrical/electronic schematics
- Define and maintain communication interfaces (CAN, ARINC, Ethernet, UART, SPI, I2C, RS-232/485)
- Develop maintain CAN messaging documentation (dbc , simulate bus networks, analyze bus loading, troubleshoot issues, and write CAPL scripts)
- Integrate validate DC-DC converters, PDUs, BMS, chargers, and embedded devices
- Implement and test firmware/software modules in C/C++ on embedded targets
- Develop integration test plans, execute HIL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) tests, and document results
- Support HW-SW co-design by working closely with hardware software teams
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and manage source code with Git
- Support certification-driven development (ISO 26262, DO-178)
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in electrical/electronics systems, embedded software development/testing
- Strong understanding of electric power interfaces (current, voltage levels, power, power quality) and communication interfaces (CAN, ARINC, Ethernet, etc) - Hands-on experience with Embedded C/C++, debuggers (Segger J-Link, Lauterbach), and embedded targets
- Strong software debugging troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262, ASIL C/D) and/or aerospace standards (DO-178B/C, DO-254)
- Familiarity with RTOS concepts and real-time embedded systems
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting automation
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab for version control
- Excellent teamwork communication skills
Preferred Qualification
B TECH or B E / BS / B Sc, M Sc (Electrical Electronics or Computer Science Engineering) with 2 to 3 years of experience
- Exposure to power electronics (DC-DC converters, motor controllers, Li-ion battery systems)
- Experience with CAN bus network simulation tools, CAPL scripting, and HIL setups
- Prior work in automotive or aerospace domains
