Job summary

Technocon is seeking motivated Electrical Fitters in India to join the team. The role covers electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, inviting freshers and experienced candidates alike.

Candidates will work on electrical equipment, wiring, and control panels, with emphasis on safety and accurate documentation. Shift work and field locations may be required, and prior ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome.
• Candidates with relevant industrial experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, and control panels.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure proper functioning of motors, switches, relays, contactors, MCC panels, and other components.
• Carry out cable laying, termination, and panel wiring as required.
• Follow safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Maintain maintenance records and report abnormalities to supervisor.
• Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime.

Position: Electrical Fitter
Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for motivated and skilled Electrical Fitters to join our team. Both freshers and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. The selected candidates will be responsible for electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities while ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, maintain, and repair electrical equipment, wiring, and control panels.
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults in machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Ensure proper functioning of motors, switches, relays, contactors, MCBs, MCC panels, and other electrical components.
• Carry out cable laying, termination, and panel wiring as required.
• Use electrical testing instruments such as multimeters, clamp meters, and insulation testers.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and report any abnormalities to the supervisor.
• Coordinate with the maintenance and production teams to minimize equipment downtime.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: ITI (Electrician/Electrical Fitter/Wireman) or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Freshers & Experienced are welcome to apply.
• Candidates with relevant industrial experience will be given preference.

Desired Skills
