Job summary

Ashok Hall Group of Schools is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure continuous operation of campus electrical systems, including HT/LT panels, motors, DG sets, UPS and PLCs. The role involves preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and timely troubleshooting to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates have 2–7 years of electrical engineering experience, a Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree, and solid knowledge of building construction processes, transformers, and switchgear panels.

• Diploma/B.Tech or B.E. degree from a recognized institution.
• Strong understanding of building construction processes and civil projects.
• Proficiency with electricity distribution networks, transformers, switchgear panels, etc.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of electrical systems (HT/LT panels, motors, DG sets, UPS, PLCs).
• Perform preventive maintenance: cleaning, lubrication, parts replacement.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with Mechanical/Civil teams to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of electrical systems, including HT panels, LT panels, AC/DC motors, DG sets, UPSs, PLCs, and other related equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and replacement of worn-out parts to prevent breakdowns.
• Troubleshoot issues with electrical systems and resolve problems promptly to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other teams (Mechanical/Civil) to identify root causes of issues and implement solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including logs of maintenance activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 2-7 years of experience in Electrical Engineering or related field (Mechanical Engineering/Civil Construction).
• Diploma/B.Tech / B.E. degree from a recognized institution.
