Job summary

Aule Space seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop, test, and integrate spacecraft electrical systems in Bengaluru. You will handle power generation, distribution, and onboard electronics to enable autonomous operations in orbit.

Key tasks include HV component design, EMI/EMC testing, and integration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable space hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience.
• Passion for hardware development in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with high voltage components and systems.
• Experience in designing, building, and testing analog and digital circuits.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and integrate spacecraft electrical systems from power generation to onboard electronics.
• Perform electrical power system verification testing and analysis.
• Collaborate with design, test, and production engineers on power electronics hardware.
• Plan and run environmental tests (EMI/EMC, TVAC, Vibration).
• Manage solar panel arrays, power regulation, distribution, processing, and conditioning.
• Integrate systems into the spacecraft with the team.

Job description

As part of the Electrical team at Aule, you will be responsible for the design, development, testing, and integration of spacecraft electrical systems: from power generation and distribution to onboard electronics that enable autonomous and reliable operations in orbit.

Responsibilities

• Work on the electrical power system and sub-system level design trades and develop requirements
• Define and perform electrical power system verification testing and analysis
• Work with multidisciplinary teams of design, test, and production engineers to create new power electronics hardware
• Plan and run environmental tests (EMI/EMC, TVAC, Vibration)
• Manage and control key components such as solar panel arrays, power regulation and distribution, power processing, and power conditioning
• Integrate these systems into the spacecraft by working closely with the rest of the team

What We Look For

• Bachelor of Science degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience
• A passion for hardware development, including working in a fast-paced environment and hands-on design and development
• Experience working with, designing for, and testing high voltage components and systems
• Experience in designing, building, and testing analog and digital circuits

Preferred Qualifications

• EMI/EMC experience
• Experience with designing for fault tolerance, especially to withstand a radiation environment
• Experience with photovoltaics
