Job summary

CLAAS Agricultural Machinery India in Mohali is seeking a wiring harness design engineer for automotive applications. You will read and create harness drawings, validate designs, and support production, field, and after-sales teams.

ME/BE in Mechanical or Electrical, 6–10 years' experience in automotive harness design, strong CATIA V5/V6, Mentor Graphics and UG-NX skills, with good English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum is ME/BE in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• 6–10 years of hands-on wiring harness design experience.
• Location: Mohali, Punjab.
• Strong CATIA V5/V6 and Mentor Graphics skills required.

Job description

Candidates should have a minimum of 6-10 years' experience in wiring harness design in Automotive engineering.

• Good knowledge of Automotive electrical components & Design.
• Experience in electrical design for the Automotive industry.
• Experience of working in OEM
• Good knowledge of Electrical 3d routing in CAD
• Good Knowledge of 3D software Catia v5/v6
• Good knowledge of Mentor Graphics software /Capital Harness
• Knowledge of ECRM (Release processes)
• Knowledge of SAP and MS office tools
• Capable to understand / resolve the Production issues, Field & after Sales issues / queries.
• Very Good knowledge of wiring harness drawing, the candidate should be able to read and create W/H drawings.
• Good English communication skills are desirable.
