Larsen & Toubro seeks an EHS professional to lead safety at the project site, implementing EHS policies and conducting daily inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.

You will identify hazards, coordinate with site teams, conduct inductions, and support incident investigations while maintaining essential EHS documentation and records.

Qualificações

• B.E. or equivalent in engineering with PGDISEM or safetyCertifications considered a plus.
• Experience in implementing EHS policies at project sites and conducting daily safety inspections.

Responsabilidades

• Lead EHS at the project site and implement safety procedures.
• Identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are applied.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and training sessions.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and workers to enforce EHS protocols.
• Support incident reporting and root cause analysis with the EHS Manager.
• Maintain EHS documentation, permits, checklists and records.

Project Leadership and ExecutionImplement EHS policies and procedures at the project site.Conduct daily safety inspections and monitor worksite compliance with safety standards.Identify potential hazards and ensure corrective measures are implemented.Strategic Business GrowthContribute to a proactive safety culture to enhance project performance.Promote safety initiatives that align with organizational goals.Support continuous improvement in EHS practices at the project level.Stakeholder ManagementCoordinate with site supervisors and workers to ensure compliance with EHS protocols.Communicate safety requirements and corrective actions to project teams.Provide input to EHS Manager for incident reporting and resolution.Leadership and Team DevelopmentProvide EHS induction and training to project personnel, contractors, and visitors.Foster awareness of safety procedures and guidelines among theworkforce.Act as a role model for safety practices and promote a culture of teamwork.Assist in mentoring junior EHS staff and contractors on site-specific safety requirements.Compliance and SafetyConduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and awareness campaigns.Support the investigation of incidents and near misses, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up.Verify the use of PPE and adherence to safe work practices.Maintain and update EHS documentation, including checklists, permits, and records.
