Job summary

Apex Group Ltd (UK Branch) in Mumbai is seeking a seasoned Data/BI Engineer to support eFront Invest initiatives and related data projects. You will work across SQL, BI tools, and data warehousing to optimize reporting, data extraction, and analytics for fund administration teams.

The role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication, and experience with Agile/Scrum environments. Candidates with mentoring background are welcome.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, with a focus on eFront Invest support and development.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, report writing, and data extraction from relational databases.
• Experience with Business Intelligence tools and reporting frameworks.
• Solid understanding of fund administration, investment accounting, and closed-ended fund structures.
• Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL processes, and system integration.
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data modeling).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.
• Prior experience in leading or mentoring technical teams is desirable.
