Job summary

Capgemini in Hyderabad is seeking an experienced Endpoint Security Engineer to manage and optimize endpoint security platforms with hands-on expertise in Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and CrowdStrike Falcon.

You will support incident response activities, collaborate with L2 teams, and drive continuous service improvements across client environments.

Qualifications

• 3-8 years of experience in Endpoint Security.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as: Microsoft Security certifications, CrowdStrike Falcon certifications, Security+, CEH, CySA+, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings and provide regular status updates on endpoint security platforms.
• Manage and support endpoint security solutions including MDE, CrowdStrike, and other EDR technologies.
• Install, configure, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot endpoint security tools.
• Support L2 teams in resolving complex technical issues and escalations.
• Monitor and respond to security incidents throughout the incident response lifecycle.
• Perform policy management, rule creation, and fine‑tuning to improve detection effectiveness.
• Raise support tickets with vendors and coordinate issue resolution through closure.
• Identify opportunities for service improvements and operational enhancements.
• Recommend new integrations, security features, and best practices to clients.
• Prepare operational reports, technical documentation, and management updates.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and organizational policies.
