Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking an experienced EDIFACT / VB.NET Developer to design, develop, and support EDIFACT-based integrations and VB.NET applications. You will engage in message processing, SQL Server programming, and collaboration with BI, QA, and other technical teams.

Responsibilities include maintaining existing code, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and performing debugging, unit testing, and production support to meet timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with EDIFACT.
• Proficient in VB.NET and SQL Server.
• Understanding of application development, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Ability to understand existing code and integration flows independently.
• Nice-to-have: C# and ASP.NET experience.

We are looking for an experienced EDIFACT / VB.NET Developer with strong hands-on experience in EDIFACT, VB.NET, and SQL Server . The candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting applications and integrations involving EDIFACT message processing and business workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance applications using VB.NET .

Work extensively with EDIFACT standards, message formats, mapping, validation, and processing.

Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

Develop and maintain SQL Server queries, stored procedures, functions, and database components.

Troubleshoot application and integration issues and perform root-cause analysis.

Support EDIFACT interfaces, message processing, and integration-related issues.

Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and other technical teams to deliver solutions.

Perform unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to ensure quality and reliability.

Participate in production support and resolve technical issues within agreed timelines.

Document technical solutions, integration flows, and application changes.

Requirements

Required Skills – Must Have

Strong hands-on experience with EDIFACT .

Strong experience with SQL Server , including queries and stored procedures.

Good understanding of application development, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Ability to understand existing code and integration flows and make enhancements independently.

Nice to Have

Experience with C# .

Experience with ASP.NET .

Exposure to integration/API-based development.

Experience working in Agile development environments.
