Job summary

Sensata Technologies is seeking an EDI Mapper to design, develop, and maintain EDI maps and partner integrations. You will ensure data accuracy, compliance with EDI standards, and seamless integration across enterprise applications.

You’ll perform testing, provide final production approval, and assist with production support and troubleshooting across trading partners and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• A university degree is required or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Deep knowledge of EDI standards (ANSI X12, EDIFACT) and related tooling.
• Experience with Oracle EBS integrations and ERP connectivity.

• Develop and maintain EDI maps and partner integrations.
• Support onboarding trading partners, partner specifications, EDI testing, and production issue resolution.
• Focus on integrations, mapping, transformations, EDI communications, and ERP connectivity.
• Monitor transactions, troubleshoot EDI failures, validate data, and approve moves to production.

Job description

The EDI Mapper is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) maps that enable the seamless exchange of business documents between internal systems and external partners. This role ensures data accuracy, compliance with EDI standards, and efficient integration across enterprise applications. You will be expected to perform testing scenarios, provide final approval prior to moving to Production, and assist with production support and troubleshooting.

General Responsibilities

• Key participant in the design and development of applications, and a key participant in unit tests that focus on test-driven developments
• Ensures the timely delivery of technical solutions while following development best practices to ensure long-term viability and scalability of customizations
• Presents technical guidance to the development of applications to support business and product strategies
• Key participant in the maintenance of all applications every release cycle
• Collaborates on the research, design, and delivering of solutions for multiple business units
• Collaborates with analysts and business owners to deliver results in a timely manner
• Review and assess current state to identify and recommend improvement opportunities

Experience / Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.

Additional Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of ANSI X12, EDIFACT, VDA, Oracle Gateway, XML, JSON, Seeburger BIS/BIC, and Oracle EBS.
• Understanding of Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Planning, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain processes preferred.
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS integrations.
• Knowledge of communication protocols including AS2, OFTP2, FTP/SFTP, and VAN.
• Experience with EDI mapping.
