Devopsroles in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced DevOps Engineer to strengthen our CI/CD, cloud, and automation capabilities. You will work in a hybrid multi-tenant environment, automate deployment, monitor systems, and collaborate with development and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has 8–14 years in software engineering, strong Linux, scripting (Shell, Python), and hands-on experience with Jenkins, Git, Kubernetes, Docker, AWS and Azure, plus SQL knowledge and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Linux OS with scripting (Shell/Python).
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD using Maven, Jenkins, etc.
• Hands-on with VMs, Containers using Kubernetes, Docker.
• Cloud apps on AWS, Azure; familiar with multi-tenant environments.

Job Description

DevOps culture is introduced to build better communication, improved collaboration, and agile relation between the software development team and Operations team. It involves looking into seamless integration among the teams, successfully and continuously deploying the code. A DevOps engineer must have a strong passion for scripting and coding, has expertise in handling deployment automation, infrastructure automation and ability to handle the version control. They need to have excellent complex problem-solving skills, must have the ability to think out of the box, and curious.

Responsibilities

• DevOps Engineer is responsible for handling the IT infrastructure as per the business needs of the code which can be deployed in a hybrid multi-tenant environment which needs continuous monitoring of the performance.
• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
• Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
• Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions
• Test, build, design, deployment, and ability to maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery process using tools like Jenkins, Git, etc.
• Must know how to choose the best tools and technologies which best fits the business needs.
• Ability to automate test and deploy the code and monitor.
• Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
• Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Develop scripts to automate visualization
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Linux operating system environment with good command over scripting language like Shell Script, Python
• Experience in developing and maintaining CI/CD process by accessing tools like Maven, Jenkins, etc.
• Hands-on experience to build and handle VMs, Containersutilizing tools like Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
• Hands-on experience in building, designing and maintaining cloud-based applications with AWS, Azure, etc.
• Working in regulation with industry-standard best practices in close coordination with integration and deployment team.
• Proficient with gitand git workflows
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit
• Master's Degree in technical or management discipline and/or equivalent extensive work-related experience.
