Job summary

Evoke HR Solutions Pvt. Ltd. invites qualified candidates for the role of ED Junior Designer II in Chennai to join the Powertrain Engineering team. The position focuses on automotive engine CAD design, 3D modelling, and drawing creation for prototypes in a dynamic environment.

Candidates will work with CATIA V5, 3DEXPERIENCE, and Teamcenter to ensure compliant designs, perform stack-up analyses, and support engineering change requests. Walk-in drive and immediate opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• BE / ME in Mechanical or Automobile required.
• Experience with automotive engine/powertrain CAD design preferred.
• Familiarity with Ford drafting standards and ASME GD&T is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3D modelling of engine components and assemblies using CATIA V5 / 3DX.
• Create new engine component and assembly drawings for prototype and initial releases.
• Perform packaging, clearance and interference studies for engine components and assemblies.
• Conduct fastener stack-up and linear stack-up analysis.
• Check engineering drawings as per Ford Drafting Standards and ASME GD&T standards.
• Update 3D models and drawings based on Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).
• Prepare design proposals and perform CAD remastering for engine components and assemblies.
• Create and maintain engine assemblies using CAD and PLM tools.
• Manage engineering data and revisions using Teamcenter.
