Mercor is seeking an Economics Research Expert for remote contract work. You will evaluate AI-generated economic content for accuracy and depth, and review alignment with core economic principles. The role requires rigorous analysis and the ability to provide structured feedback to AI research teams.

The position is remote, with a minimum commitment of four weeks and at least 10 hours per week. Candidates typically hold a Master's or PhD in Economics and have experience at leading institutions.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working at top institutions in economics research (e.g., World Bank, IMF, Fed, Graduate Schools).
• Master's or PhD in Economics.
