Job summary

Marico seeks a skilled Shopify developer to lead end-to-end D2C storefront development and maintenance. You will architect scalable e-commerce experiences optimized for performance, conversion, and retention while migrating sites to Shopify from WooCommerce or other stacks.

You will oversee international storefronts, implement Liquid-based customizations, collaborate with growth teams on CRO/SEO, and drive best practices in front-end architecture and testing across departments.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Shopify ecosystem and custom theme development.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, and Shopify Liquid.
• Experience with WooCommerce and headless commerce platforms.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating third-party tools, APIs, and payment systems.
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• 4+ years in web development with strong D2C/e-commerce exposure.
• Experience handling Shopify migrations and international store launches.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with performance marketing and D2C growth teams to improve website conversion rates.
• Optimize page speed, mobile responsiveness, and checkout experiences.
• Support prepaid order growth, funnel optimization, and customer retention initiatives.
• Act as the primary technical stakeholder for website and e-commerce operations.
• Drive best practices in front-end architecture, code quality, testing, and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform, plugin, and integration issues across departments.
• Implement technical SEO strategies to improve discoverability and search rankings.
• Support Google Ads and digital campaign landing page development.
• Monitor website analytics and recommend improvements based on user behavior and conversion metrics.
