Software Integration, Validation and Verification for Earth Observation Satellite Missions

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

We are looking for a highly skilled software engineer to play a key role in software integration, validation, and verification for Earth observation missions. The selected candidate will participate in software development and testing, ensuring system quality and reliability through unit tests, integration tests, system tests, and non-regression tests.

• Develop and maintain test tools and software to ensure system reliability.
• Prepare technical documentation and manage software delivery.
• Interact with the client to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Design and develop scripts in Python, Bash, or other automation languages.
• Program in C/C++, using the GNU toolset.
• Work in Unix/Linux environments with a deep understanding of the system.
• Implement and maintain continuous integration systems such as Jenkins.
• Work in cloud computing environments and use technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

• Previous experience in software validation and verification in critical or high-availability environments.
• Strong knowledge of software testing, from unit testing to system-level testing.
• Advanced skills in software development and test automation.
• Experience in Unix/Linux environments and associated development tools.
• Familiarity with continuous integration systems (Jenkins) and cloud deployment.
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
