Job summary

IQVIA in Thane, India seeks a Data Management Lead to manage end-to-end delivery of data management services for single/multi-service projects. You will lead the DM team in planning, execution, financial management and milestone deliverables, ensuring quality outputs on time and within budget.

Role requires 3–4 years in Data Management, including CDM lead experience, strong English, and advanced Excel/Word skills with a deep understanding of the drug development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, clinical, biological or mathematical sciences, or a related field with proven experience in Data Management.
• 3–4 years of direct Data Management experience, including a minimum of one year as a CDM project lead.
• Fluency in spoken English and advanced reading/writing proficiency.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and inbox applications.
• Advanced understanding of the drug development lifecycle and overall clinical research process.

Job Overview

Manage end-to-end delivery of data management services for single/multi-service projects with minimal guidance, ensuring quality deliverables on time and within budget to achieve customer satisfaction. Provide comprehensive data management expertise to the Data Management (DM) team to deliver high‑quality products that meet customer needs. Lead the team in project planning, execution, close‑out, financial management, communications, and milestone deliverables. Perform the role of Data Team Lead (DTL).

Essential Functions

• Gather study set up requirements through discussion and communication with relevant stakeholders.
• Support and oversee validation of new device integrations with minimal guidance.
• Perform regular data cleaning activities to ensure clean data with quality and timely deliverables to sponsor.
• Ensure all deliverables meet expected quality standards and customer expectations.
• With guidance, ensure services and quality meet agreed‑upon timelines and deliverables in contract/Scope of Work (SOW).
• Support training of new joiners.
• Lead internal study meetings, sponsor audits, and participate in study kick‑off and other sponsor meetings.
• Track and manage projects, oversee progress, identify risks, and take corrective action to rectify any errors as recommended.
• With guidance, manage and oversee implementation of new technology or database revisions.
• Work closely with the programming team for process innovation and automation.
• Maintain compliance with trainings and eSOP reading.
• Provide review and expert opinion in developing, revising, and maintaining core operating procedures and working instructions.
• Communicate with line manager and other team members across functions in a collaborative manner.
• Perform other duties as directed by line manager.
