Job summary

Daimler Trucks North America LLC is seeking an Access Management Senior Consultant to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-wide access controls. You will manage identity lifecycles, participate in governance, and collaborate with diverse teams to strengthen security across systems.

The role requires 5+ years in IAM, strong knowledge of access models, and hands-on experience with EmpowerID, Saviynt, Sailpoint.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in access management, identity management, or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of access control models, authentication protocols, and authorization frameworks.
• Experience with leading access management solutions and technologies, such as EmpowerID, Saviynt, Sailpoint etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and support of enterprise-wide access management solutions, ensuring a secure and efficient user experience.
• Improve operational efficiency by optimizing access control processes and procedures.
• Ensure secure access across systems by implementing robust identity lifecycle management practices.
• Design and manage end-to-end identity lifecycle processes that includes Joiner/department changes, Leaver (de-provisioning)
• Support IAM governance and compliance initiatives, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into effective access management strategies.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance our access management capabilities.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and address potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align access management strategies with business objectives.
• Document and communicate access management policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent implementation.
