Job summary

Anglicare Sydney is inviting applications for a Driver / Store Worker to support the Toys ’n’ Tucker Christmas program at our Minchinbury facility. You will collect, sort and distribute donated food, toys and other gifts to families in need, helping ensure hampers reach those who rely on this community service.

This hands-on, team-based role requires a valid NSW Class C Driver Licence, physical aptitude for manual handling, and the ability to work independently and with volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Collect and transport donated food, toys and other goods for Toys ’n’ Tucker.

Every Christmas, our team collects, sorts and distributes donated food, toys and gifts to thousands of families who may otherwise go without.

Based at our Minchinbury facility, you’ll help ensure these generous donations reach the people who need them, making a meaningful difference during the festive season.

Your opportunity

This is a rewarding, hands‑on opportunity to join our Toys ’n’ Tucker team during one of the busiest and most meaningful times of the year.

You’ll support the collection, sorting, handling and distribution of donated food, toys and other goods, helping ensure Christmas hampers and gifts are prepared and delivered efficiently.

Working both independently and alongside a supportive team, you’ll contribute to the smooth operation of the program while treating every donation with care and respect.

• Assist with sorting, organising and preparing donations for distribution to families in need.
• Load, unload and handle donated goods safely and efficiently.

What’s Required

• A current NSW Class C Driver Licence with a good driving record.
• Physical ability to safely undertake the manual handling and operational requirements of the role.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A valid Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.
