The Scientific Analysis Group (SAG), a premier research laboratory under DRDO, Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has published an advertisement for a Paid Internship Scheme (6 months) for the academic year 2025-26. 1. Internship Details

2. Eligibility

• Undergraduate Engineer: Pursuing B.E/B.Tech (IV Year) full‑time course in the respective discipline.
• Postgraduate: Pursuing M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc (II Year) full‑time course in the respective discipline.
• Students with backlogs (failed semesters) are not eligible.

3. Selection Procedure

1. Students with a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CGPA from AICTE/UGC approved institutes will be considered.
2. No Objection Certificate (NOC) from Principal/HOD/TPO on institute letterhead confirming release for internship.
3. Selection will be based on CGPA, interview/interview interaction, and satisfactory verification of documents.
4. Selected candidates will be notified via email.
5. Selection is merit‑based; no communication will be given for rejected applications.

4. Procedure for Submission of Applications

1. The application must be sent via email only to [e-mail].
2. Email subject: “Application for Paid Internship – January 2026” along with Branch Code and Branch/Discipline addressed to Director, Scientific Analysis Group (SAG).
3. Scanned copies of the following documents are to be attached:
   1. Completed application form.
   2. NOC from college (as per Annexure‑I).
   3. 10th mark sheet.
   4. 12th/Diploma mark sheet.
   5. Mark sheets of all completed semesters.
   6. Address proof (Aadhaar Card).
   7. College ID Card.
4. The last date for receipt of online applications is 10 days from the advertisement date (approximately 19 Dec 2025). No application fee is required.
5. Incomplete or erroneous applications after the due date will be rejected; no further communication will be entertained.

5. Payment of Stipend

• Stipend is paid only if the student is present for a minimum of 15 working days per month.
• The stipend for the six‑month duration will be paid in two equal installments via bank transfer:

1. First installment of 15,000 INR after completion of the third month.
2. Second installment of 15,000 INR after completion of the sixth month.

Other expenditures (lodging, boarding, transport, medical, etc.) are borne by the student.

Attendance is marked according to the laboratory’s process; working hours follow the laboratory schedule.

6. Documents to be Submitted at the Time of Joining

1. No Objection Certificate (original) from Principal/HOD/TPO on institute letterhead confirming release for internship.
2. Police verification from hometown/place of residence.
3. Undertaking to adhere to Indian Official Secret Act, 1923 (Annexure‑II).
4. Undertaking to abide by IT Rules and Regulations applicable for the Ministry of Defence (Annexure‑III).
5. Cancelled cheque of student’s bank account for stipend transfer.
6. Original Aadhaar card/college ID card for verification and one photocopy of each for submission.
7. Mark sheets of 10th, 12th/Diploma, and all completed semesters (original) for verification and one set of photocopies for submission.

7. Terms & Conditions

1. The internship will be in a field relevant to SAG/DRDO’s research areas; no leave is granted except sick leave with valid prescriptions.
2. All gazetted/closed holidays applicable in the laboratory will also apply.
3. If an intern leaves before completion, no certificate will be issued.
4. First installment is paid only after successful completion of the first three months.
5. There is no obligation to offer employment to interns; interns cannot claim employment rights based on internship completion.
6. The management reserves the right to change vacancy positions or selection criteria at any time without reason.
7. Failure to comply with laboratory rules or breach of the Security Act will result in termination without notice.

8. Important Dates
