Job summary

A consulting firm specialized in urban projects is seeking candidates to prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for urban roads. The role involves coordinating data collection and ensuring compliance with standards. Ideal candidates will have a strong understanding of urban project formulation and expertise in relevant tools such as AutoCAD and GIS. The position is based in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for urban roads
• Coordinate the collection and analysis of field data

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for urban roads, including technical, financial, and environmental components.
• Coordinate the collection and analysis of field data, traffic studies, soil investigations, and topographic surveys for DPR preparation.
• Ensure integration of DPR data (designs, estimates, timelines, and BOQs) into the Digital Monitoring Platform for real-time tracking.
• Validate drawings, cost estimates, and work schedules for accuracy and compliance with government standards.
• Collaborate with Urban Planning, Construction, Road Safety, and IT teams to align DPR outputs with digital monitoring requirements.
• Develop GIS-based mapping and visual layers from DPR datasets for digital analysis.
• Support in tender documentation, technical bid evaluation, and project budgeting.
• Update DPRs periodically based on monitoring feedback, site conditions, and progress data.
• Prepare summary reports, technical presentations, and digital dashboards for management and stakeholders.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong understanding of urban road project formulation, cost estimation, and DPR guidelines.
• Expertise in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, GIS, and DPR preparation tools.
• Familiarity with digital monitoring platforms, MIS reporting, and data management.
• Sound knowledge of MoRTH, IRC, and Smart City standards.
• Excellent documentation, coordination, and analytical skills.
