Job summary

PwC India is seeking a software engineer to contribute across backend and frontend components in a .NET/React stack. The role requires 3+ years of hands-on experience, a B.E./B.Tech in engineering, and strong capabilities in designing backend services, REST APIs, and frontend UI elements.

The candidate will work in an agile environment, implement SOLID patterns, optimize databases and APIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams using Azure DevOps for CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software development in a .NET/React stack.
• Education: B.E./B.Tech in engineering or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with backend services, testing and REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using .NET Core/.NET Framework.
• Build and test frontend components with React.js, HTML and CSS.
• Design robust RESTful APIs and integrate with microservices.
• Implement unit tests (XUnit/NUnit/MSTest) and ensure code quality.
• Work with Swagger/OpenAPI and Postman for API specs and testing.
• Apply SOLID design patterns and optimize database operations.
• Collaborate in Agile sprints and utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD.

Responsibilities:

• Sound Experience on Microsoft technologies- .NET Core, Latest .NET Framework
• Strong programming skills in C#
• Experience in Unit Testing with .NET (XUnit/ NUnit/ MSTest)
• Should have experience with back-end system development (Validations, Logging, Authentication, Authorization)
• Design, Develop and Maintain Backend Services
• Hands on experience in Swagger/ OpenAPI/ Postman
• Should have sharp technical skills in RDBMS Database Operations and Optimization
• Experience and knowledge in Microservices Architecture
• Solid experience in EF Core, LINQ
• Strong knowledge in Design Patterns, adhering to SOLID principal
• Previous experience working as a React.JS developer.
• In-depth knowledge in CSS, HTML and front-end languages.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation, JSX and the JavaScript object model
• Knowledge of REACT tools including React.js, Webpack, Hooks, Redux, and Flux.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, ES6 etc.
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with user interface design.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Good project management skills.
• Familiarity with Agile Methodology
