Job summary

Cerebra is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our engineering team in Bengaluru or Pune. You will own backend services built on .NET, contribute to API design, and help scale existing microservices in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least 5 years of software development, strong C#/.NET Core skills, and hands-on experience with REST, EF Core, and unit testing. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and write reliable tests, while using Docker and Git in daily work.

Qualifications

• 5 years software engineering experience with any .NET version.
• 3 years with C# .NET Core.
• REST API using ASP .NET Core.
• Entity Framework Core.
• NUnit will need to write tests and enhance existing tests.
• SQL.
• Understanding microservices architecture – not expecting to design a new microservice, will work in the existing framework.
• Hands on experience / basic knowledge of containers e.g. how to run a container, docker-compose
• Git – hands on experience.
