Job summary

Xencia Technology Solutions is seeking a highly experienced .NET Architect to define the architectural vision for scalable software products. You will mentor teams, drive best practices, and lead technical decisions across multiple projects.

The role requires 10+ years of software development with 3-5 years in an Architect role, deep C#/.NET expertise, cloud proficiency (Azure preferred), and strong leadership to shape our technology landscape and ensure architectural integrity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• 3–5 years in an Architect role focusing on the Microsoft .NET stack.
• Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and EF Core.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP a plus).
• Experience with architectural patterns (Microservices, EDA, DDD, CQRS).
• Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL Server, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Proficiency in front-end tech (React/Angular/Vue.js) and full-stack principles.
• Security principles and secure coding practices; experience implementing security measures.
• Proven track record designing and guiding multiple complex software solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 3-5 years in an Architect role focused on the Microsoft .NET stack.
• Expert-level proficiency in C#, .NET Framework, and .NET (including .NET Core), ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS or GCP is a plus), including designing and deploying cloud-native applications, serverless functions, and microservices.
• Extensive hands-on experience with architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, DDD, CQRS) and their practical application.
• Deep understanding of database technologies (SQL Server, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.) and data modeling, with practical experience in database design and optimization.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) and understanding of full-stack development principles, with demonstrable experience in building user interfaces.
• Solid understanding of software security principles and secure coding practices, with experience in implementing security measures.
• Proven track record of designing and guiding the implementation of multiple complex software solutions successfully, including active participation in coding and code reviews.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
• Experience in a specific industry domain (e.g., Finance, Healthcare, E-commerce).

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
