Job summary

Genpact is seeking a Domain Lead - F&A - FP&A to shape the financial strategy for a defined domain and partner with business leaders to translate operational plans into financial goals.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking, providing actionable insights to influence senior leaders and drive performance across the domain’s spend and revenue levers.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modeling, analytical, and business acumen.
• Deep understanding of the domain’s operational drivers (e.g., supply chain, sales, product).
• Experience with financial systems (SAP, Oracle, Anaplan, etc.).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence senior leaders using data and insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive the financial planning strategy for the domain in collaboration with business leaders.
• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes for the domain; monitor performance and variances.
• Act as FP&A primary finance contact for domain leaders and teams with data-driven insights.
• Define and track KPIs; deliver reports and dashboards for domain leadership.
• Ensure data integrity in FP&A outputs; leverage BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).
• Implement and maintain standard FP&A processes within the domain; pursue automation.
• Coordinate with corporate finance and other functions to align planning cycles.
• Ensure compliance with policies and support audits and controls.

Job Description

Domain-Level Financial Strategy & Planning

1. Develop and drive the financial planning strategy for the specific domain (e.g., business unit or function). Partner with business leaders to translate operational strategies into financial goals. Align domain‑specific financial plans with the organization’s broader financial strategy.
2. Lead the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes for the domain. Monitor actual financial performance vs. plan; investigate and explain variances. Identify risks and opportunities within the domain and recommend corrective actions.
3. Act as the primary finance point of contact for domain leaders and their teams. Provide actionable financial insights to support decision‑making. Influence and challenge stakeholders with data‑driven recommendations.
4. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to the domain. Analyze trends and benchmarks to support performance improvement initiatives. Deliver reports and dashboards tailored to domain leadership.
5. Ensure data integrity and consistency in all FP&A outputs for the domain. Leverage BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) to enhance reporting and insight generation. Collaborate with data and analytics teams to improve access to decision‑support data.
6. Implement and maintain standard FP&A processes within the domain. Identify areas for automation and efficiency improvements in planning/reporting workflows. Support deployment of FP&A tools and templates.
7. Coordinate with corporate finance, accounting, and other domain leads to ensure aligned planning cycles. Work closely with HR, IT, procurement, and other functions as needed to build accurate financial plans. Contribute to enterprise‑wide FP&A projects and transformation efforts.
8. Ensure domain‑level financial activities comply with corporate policies and financial regulations. Support audit processes and financial controls related to domain activities.
