Job summary

Athena Consultancy Services is seeking a Data Loss Prevention Engineer L3 in India with 8+ years of experience to design, implement, and manage enterprise DLP strategies using Microsoft Purview and Zscaler. You will integrate DLP controls, develop PowerShell automation, and guide incident response while aligning policies with GDPR, HIPAA, and related standards.

You will collaborate with IT and Security teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive continuous improvement of data protection measures

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview DLP and Zscaler DLP.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 compliance center and sensitivity labels.
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell preferred).
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to DLP alerts from Microsoft Purview and Zscaler.
• Perform incident triage and root cause analysis; escalation complex cases to L3.
• Maintain and update DLP policies and sensitivity labels in Microsoft Purview.
• Troubleshoot endpoint DLP issues (Windows, M365 apps) and Zscaler traffic inspection.
• Execute runbooks for policy tuning, agent redeployment, and configuration fixes.
• Generate compliance and incident reports for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with IT and Security teams for policy enforcement and user support.

Required Skills
