Director - IT Role Purpose

As Director Software & IT based at Barcos Noida Tech Hub, you will play a pivotal leadership role in translating bold innovation into operational excellence and scalable global delivery. You will be the architect of Barcos software and IT evolution, ensuring that technology strategy, people, and execution are tightly aligned with business priorities across Entertainment, Healthcare, and Enterprise. This role goes beyond managing technology—it is about driving performance, enabling transformation, and building a culture of disciplined execution within a global technology leader.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Strategic Planning & IT Governance

  Define and execute the technology and software roadmap aligned with Barcos long-term business strategy. Ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value. Establish and govern IT policies for risk management, security, compliance, and ethical use of technology. Ensure IT systems and practices meet global regulatory, quality, and governance standards. Act as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leadership on technology trends, risks, and opportunities.

• 2. Global Delivery Management (SDLC Excellence)

  Own and optimize the end-to-end Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across globally distributed teams. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards, from requirements through deployment and maintenance. Implement standardized delivery frameworks, metrics, and governance models. Drive predictability, transparency, and accountability in global software delivery.

• 3. Digital Transformation Leadership

  Lead the strategic integration of digital technologies across the organization. Enable the shift from standalone hardware solutions to software-driven, connected, and data-enabled ecosystems. Drive transformation that is as much cultural and process-oriented as it is technological. Champion automation, platform thinking, and scalable architectures to support future growth.

• 4. Change Management & Organizational Enablement

  Lead large-scale transformation initiatives with a strong focus on the human side of change. Apply structured change management frameworks to: transition teams from legacy workflows to modern digital solutions. Drive adoption of automation and new ways of working. Build strong communication strategies to minimize resistance and secure organizational buy‑in. Foster a high-performance culture that balances innovation with execution discipline.

• 5. Global Delivery & Talent Leadership

  Lead and scale Barcos Noida Software & IT Hub as a critical strategic delivery center. Coordinate seamless delivery across multi-national, multi-time-zone teams. Navigate cultural nuances and logistical challenges while maintaining consistent quality and velocity. Attract, develop, and retain top-tier engineering and technology leadership talent in India. Build a leadership bench capable of supporting Barcos long-term growth ambitions.
