Job summary

Target Bengaluru is seeking a Director of Product Management for Enterprise Data Strategy to shape the strategic vision for data products across the supply chain. You will govern budgets, set quarterly OKRs, and lead a high-performing team of product managers.

You will collaborate with business and technology partners to drive data-driven decisions that improve outcomes for guests and team members, while advancing Target's data capabilities and governance.

Team Overview

The Enterprise Data Strategy team leads Target’s transformation into a modern, data-driven enterprise by establishing a unified vision, strategic priorities, and roadmap for unlocking the full value of data. The team drives alignment across business, product, and technology partners to modernize data platforms, strengthen governance, simplify access, and accelerate actionable insights and recommendations. Through enterprise-wide operating models, shared standards, and coordinated investments, the team enables trusted, scalable, and AI-ready data capabilities that improve how decisions are made. Ultimately, the team focuses on turning data into a strategic advantage that drives business growth, operational efficiency, and differentiated experiences for guests and team members.

Position Overview

As a Product Director, you will set the overall strategic vision for the Supply Chain data products and product team, are accountable for succeeding against identified business outcomes and metrics, will set and manage the product’s budget and financials, set the short- and long-term product goals, and quarterly Objectives and Key Results (OKRs).

You will be accountable for building, coaching, and mentoring a strong team of product managers while also building a strong team culture of progress, transparency, and efficiency across Product teams. You will be responsible to elevate your collective team’s performance by providing insightful, motivating, and constructive feedback to all roles on the team while also working with senior leadership and peers across pyramids to negotiate and remove execution related barriers for your teams.

You will drive product discovery with key stakeholders to validate hypotheses and concepts with customers before committing engineering time, as you lead highly complex work across multiple pyramids, with interrelated specialties. You will leverage data and analytics to provide competitive analysis, drive decision making, assess the health and effectiveness of your products and related P&L impacts, and to deliver recommendations to key stakeholders.

**About you:**

• Four-year degree or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of product management experience or equivalent domain experience, preferably in data products or supply chain products.
• Experience with technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams
• Strong communication skills and proven ability to influence both at a strategic leadership level and cross functionally
• Expert at working in the agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, scrum teams, sprints, personas)
• Strategic mindset and bias for action with strong ability for strategic planning, defining OKRs and driving business outcomes
• Ability to lead and influence a team while fostering relationships across multiple enterprise-wide teams
