Job summary

Happiest Minds Technologies invites applications for a Director role in the Life Sciences Industry Group (Domain Expert) based in Bengaluru. You will lead strategic initiatives across Pharma R&D, Clinical Development, and Commercial CRM IT programs, collaborating with scientists, architects, and engineers worldwide.

You will leverage deep domain knowledge of pharma value chains, and core LCMS/LIMS/ELN product ecosystems, while driving thought leadership and market-facing activities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in life sciences or related field; PhD preferred.
• 15–20 years of pharma/Life Sciences IT industry experience.
• Experience delivering Pharma R&D Discovery, Clinical Development or Commercial CRM IT programs.
• Deep understanding of Pharma value chain and core life sciences products.
• GxP processes and GAMP-compliant pharma IT systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Sales enablement: prospecting, targeting clients, and account mining with global collaboration.
• Own Life Sciences solutions and offerings across the value chain.
• Thought leadership: contribute to white papers, PoVs, and speaker appearances at life sciences events.
• Manage engagements: identify value drivers in existing accounts and drive growth across new areas.
• Build LS-specific competencies in collaboration with technology practices.

Director - Life Sciences Industry Group (Domain Expert)

Location: Bengaluru

Qualifications & Expertise desired:

• Minimum of masters degree in life science or related area, PhD Degree (preferred).
• 15-20 years of experience in the Pharma and Biotechnology or Life sciences IT industry.
• Experienced having delivered Pharma R&D Discovery, Clinical Development or Commercial CRM IT Programs
• Deep understanding of Pharma value chain, Market leading core life sciences products. Working knowledge of any products - Veeva, Salesforce, SAP, Argus, Werum Pas X, LabWare LIMS and ELN products will be an advantage.
• Worked on GxP processes and with GAMP compliant validated pharma IT systems.
