Job summary

PFI Innovation Centre India, part of the Prudential Financial, Inc. family, seeks aDirector for Integrated Modeling Solutions to steer architecture, development and governance of its PyVal and Eureka! platforms from India.

You will guide cross-functional teams, shape the modeling roadmap, and elevate actuarial and financial modeling capabilities across diverse stakeholders. The role requires strong Python expertise, leadership experience, and deep knowledge of life insurance, valuation and asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Fellowship credential from the Society of Actuaries, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, Institute of Actuaries of India, or equivalent actuarial body.
• Ten or more years of relevant experience in actuarial or financial modeling.
• Demonstrated people leadership and experience leading complex model development or platform modernization.
• Advanced Python expertise and modern software development practices for actuarial models.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, development, testing, governance and delivery of PyVal and Eureka! modeling platforms.
• Translate global priorities into a sequenced portfolio of model development and remediation work.
• Maintain model governance across logic, data lineage, documentation, testing and production support.

What You Will Do

Based in India, the Director, Integrated Modeling Solutions will lead the team responsible for the architecture, design, development, testing, governance, and delivery of Prudential's strategic PyVal and Eureka! modeling platforms. This role combines deep financial or actuarial modeling expertise with modern software engineering, people leadership, and disciplined execution to advance an integrated global modeling ecosystem supporting valuation, forecasting, capital management, asset liability management, reinsurance analysis, and strategic decision-making.

What You Can Expect

• Set the technical direction and actionable roadmap for assigned PyVal and Eureka! capabilities, and lead the architecture, design, development, testing, and controlled deployment of scalable Python-based modeling solutions.
• Translate global priorities into a sequenced portfolio of model development, enhancement, and remediation work, managing scope, capacity, dependencies, risks, releases, and delivery commitments across concurrent initiatives.
• Maintain rigorous model governance and controls across model logic, assumptions, data lineage, documentation, testing, access, release management, validation, and production support.
• Lead, coach, and build a high-performing India-based modeling team, strengthening capability across actuarial and financial modeling, Python engineering, insurance products, governance, and stakeholder management.
• Serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders across Finance, Actuarial, Investments, Treasury, Risk, Technology, and business teams, clearly communicating model insights, risks, tradeoffs, and recommendations.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Fellowship credential from the Society of Actuaries, Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, Institute of Actuaries of India, or an equivalent recognized actuarial body.
• Ten or more years of relevant experience in actuarial modeling, financial modeling, quantitative risk, insurance finance, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated people leadership and experience leading complex model development, transformation, or platform modernization initiatives across multiple stakeholders.
• Advanced Python expertise, strong knowledge of modern software development practices for controlled financial or actuarial models, and strong executive communication and decision-making skills.

What will set you apart?

• Deep experience in life insurance, annuities, retirement, reinsurance, institutional products, or related insurance businesses.
• Experience with valuation, forecasting, asset liability management, capital planning, liquidity risk, stress testing, or strategic asset allocation.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, US statutory reporting, Bermuda EBS or BSCR, or comparable insurance accounting and regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with Prophet, MoSes, or comparable projection systems.
• Experience with cloud-enabled platforms, Git-based development, automated testing, continuous integration and deployment, data architecture, or Agile portfolio delivery.
• Experience building or expanding a modeling, analytics, actuarial, or finance capability within a global capability center.
