OneMagnify seeks a Director of the Global FP&A Reporting Center of Excellence to build and lead the COE from India. You will establish governance, standards, and tooling for timely, accurate management reporting across regions, while partnering with US and India finance teams.

Qualifications

Director, Global FP&A Reporting Center of Excellence (India)
About This Role

This is a rare opportunity to build and lead OneMagnify's Global FP&A Reporting Center of Excellence (COE) from India. As the leader of this function, you will establish the processes, standards, tools, and talent that enable timely, accurate, and scalable financial reporting across the company. While the primary mission of the COE is to serve as the operational backbone of OneMagnify's global management reporting process, this role also plays a key leadership role in supporting India's budgeting process and partnering with local business leaders to identify cost optimization opportunities. You will work closely with Finance leadership in the United States and India to deliver executive, board, lender, and management reporting while ensuring the organization has clear visibility into financial performance, risks, and opportunities. Beyond reporting, you will help transform how Finance operates by driving automation, process standardization, and the adoption of AI-enabled solutions that improve reporting efficiency, analytical capability, and decision-making. This role is ideal for a builder who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys creating scalable processes, and has experience leading reporting, shared services, or center-of-excellence organizations that support global stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.

What You'll Do
  • Lead OneMagnify's Global FP&A Reporting COE
  • Build and lead a high-performing FP&A Reporting Center of Excellence based in India.
  • Establish operating procedures, governance standards, documentation, and controls that ensure reporting consistency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Develop the long-term vision and roadmap for the reporting function.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop FP&A talent.
  • Own Global Financial Reporting
    • Lead preparation, review, and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages.
    • Own executive, board, lender, and management reporting deliverables.
    • Ensure reported results are accurate, reconciled, and supported by clear business explanations.
    • Serve as the primary escalation point for reporting quality and financial data integrity.
  • Deliver Insight Beyond the Numbers
    • Lead monthly budget-versus-actual analysis and investigate material variances for India entity.
    • Identify key business drivers, emerging risks, and opportunities.
    • Partner with local Accounting, FP&A, Operations, HR, and business leaders.
    • Support budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Drive Reporting Transformation & Automation
    • Reduce dependence on manual reporting processes.
    • Improve capabilities within Adaptive and other enterprise platforms.
    • Champion process automation and data standardization.
    • Leverage AI, generative AI, and automation technologies to improve reporting and insights.
  • Partner Across Global Teams
    • Build strong relationships with Finance and business leaders across the United States and India.
    • Act as a bridge between regional stakeholders.
    • Support Finance transformation, BI, and process improvement initiatives.
What Success Looks Like in 12 Months

The FP&A Reporting COE is recognized as the trusted source for management, board, and lender reporting. Executive reporting packages are delivered consistently, accurate, and on schedule. Material business risks and opportunities are proactively identified and communicated through disciplined variance analysis. Reporting cycle times and manual effort are significantly reduced. AI and advanced reporting technologies improve reporting quality, speed, and insight generation. Documented standards and controls enable the function to scale efficiently. The India FP&A team is viewed as a strategic business partner.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CA, CPA, CMA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive Financial Planning and Analysis or global consolidated reporting 5+ years of experience leading teams, shared services organizations, or COEs.
  • Experience delivering executive, board, lender, or management reporting.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Experience supporting stakeholders across multiple countries and time zones.
  • Experience driving automation and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Experience with Adaptive Planning or similar EPM platforms.
  • Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience building or leading a Finance Shared Service Center or Reporting COE.
  • Experience in a professional services, consulting, marketing services, or technology environment.
  • Experience leveraging AI, Generative AI, machine learning, RPA, or advanced analytics tools to improve financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Experience partnering with BI or Data Engineering teams.
  • Experience with Power BI and modern reporting technologies.
  • Demonstrated success building scalable processes from an evolving starting point.
