Job summary

Playsimple Games Private Limited is seeking an experienced FP&A / Business Finance Head to drive financial strategy, planning and performance management across the organization. You will partner with the CFO and Business Heads to shape budgets, forecasting, MIS, and KPI standardization while building a high-performing finance team.

The role requires 12–15 years in finance, with 5+ years in FP&A leadership, and a track record in consumer tech/gaming or platform companies.

Qualifications

• Lead FP&A / Business Finance function, partnering with the CFO and Business Heads on strategic planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive integration and standardization of MIS across business verticals, ensuring unified reporting and KPI tracking at an organizational level.
• Own the financial narrative for leadership and Investor Relations — translating business performance into clear, actionable insights.
• Lead automation and scalability of reporting and forecasting processes, improving efficiency, transparency, and decision speed.
• Partner with leadership to institutionalize performance metrics and drive alignment across functions and business units.
• Provide strategic financial guidance on business models, revenue streams, cost drivers, and performance levers.
• Build, mentor, and grow a high-performing FP&A / Business Finance team.
• Balance strong governance over core business performance with bandwidth to support new growth initiatives.
• Act as a key strategic finance partner in cross-functional decision-making with senior leadership.

This role will lead the FP&A / Business Finance charter, partnering closely with the CFO and Business Heads to drive financial strategy, planning, and performance management across the organization. The role will be instrumental in shaping decision-making through robust financial insights, driving MIS and KPI standardization, and supporting strategic growth initiatives, while building and mentoring a high-performing finance team.

• 12–15 years of total experience in Finance, with the last 5+ years in an FP&A Head / Business Finance leadership capacity
• Prior experience reporting to CFO and/or Business Heads
• Relevant industry background in Consumer Tech, Gaming, SaaS, E-commerce,Product Tech, or Platform companies
• Strong track record of building and scaling MIS/KPI frameworks across a growing organization
• Proven ability to lead and mentor finance teams
• Strong command of financial systems and automation tools (Advanced Excel, Power BI, Tableau, ERP tools, etc.)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment managing multiple priorities
