Micron Technology Operations India Llp seeks a Director of Firmware (FW) & Product Test to lead strategy and execution for firmware verification and product testing across Data Center SSDs.

In this executive role, you will drive validation planning, oversee testing infrastructures, and collaborate with global teams to ensure high-quality, scalable solutions from architecture to production release.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in firmware, storage, validation, or product test engineering.
• Drive execution excellence with Artificial Intelligence, leveraging tools for end-to-end workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, execution, and continuous improvement of firmware verification, validation, and product test for Data Center SSDs.
• Manage Firmware Product and Test Team in India in coordination with global FPT.
• Define validation strategy, execution plans, and metrics.
• Oversee firmware test development, validation infrastructure, automation, failure analysis, and qualification readiness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and cross-geography teams.
• Own end-to-end firmware verification strategy for enterprise SSD products.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for NVMe, security, management, reliability, performance, and customer features.
• Lead validation planning from requirements to release.
• Promote white-box, gray-box, and black-box testing methodologies.
• Align architecture, firmware design, and validation requirements.

• Establish validation strategy, execution plan, metrics.
• Drives product quality from architecture through development to production release by overseeing firmware test development, validation infrastructure, automation frameworks, failure analysis and qualification readiness.
• Highly collaborative, working with cross functional and cross geography teams.
• Own end-to-end firmware verification strategy across enterprise SSD products.
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage for NVMe, security, management, reliability, performance, and customer features.
• Lead validation planning from requirements through qualification and release.
• Drive adoption of white-box, gray-box, and black-box testing methodologies.
• Ensure alignment between architecture, firmware design, and validation requirements.
