Overview of the Role

Nuveen is seeking an experienced engineering leader to own the strategy, delivery and hands‑on technical excellence of the GoldenSource platform supporting enterprise reference data management. This role combines strategic technology leadership with deep, hands‑on GoldenSource expertise, leading a global team of engineers while remaining personally engaged in platform design, data quality, and complex issue resolution. The ideal candidate is a proven people leader with global team management experience, strong commercial and transformation instincts, and genuine technical depth in GoldenSource, reference data domains, and financial instrument data.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and implement the technology and data strategy/roadmap for reference data management, leveraging new technologies and innovation to deliver services globally
• Own strategic leadership of engineering and delivery execution for GoldenSource and related data solutions
• Provide hands‑on leadership in implementing solutions for Nuveen's reference data management requirements
• Drive ongoing optimization of solutions implemented on the GoldenSource platform
• Lead resolution of complex technical and functional issues related to platform implementation
• Partner with product teams to build and manage a best‑in‑class roadmap that puts data at the core of client outcomes
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that lower cost‑to‑serve and improve operating margins
• Lead a global team of engineering and delivery experts across technology, data, and business intelligence
• Build organizational passion and competency for technology transformation
• Drive changes to team operating models and ways of working
