QAD seeks an Engineering Leader to own the Lynx tooling and the Extensions Platform, plus the pre-engagement assessment activity as customers migrate to Adaptive streamlined. You will lead multiple managers and partner with Services, Sales, and Product to align roadmap, delivery commitments, and budgets.
You will build scalable tooling for migration, mentor managers, and translate customer needs into repeatable product capabilities, driving measurable improvements in migration outcomes.
QAD is a leading provider of ERP solutions purpose-built for manufacturing industries — automotive, life sciences, food & beverage, high tech, and industrial. Serving thousands of global manufacturers, QAD's Adaptive Manufacturing Cloud helps companies operate with greater precision, agility, and intelligence.
Enterprise software is entering a third era. The first gave manufacturers a System of Record — ERP that answered 'what do we have and what did we commit to?' The second gave them Data Infrastructure — the ability to move, analyse, and query that data at scale. The third era is domain-specific intelligence: AI agents that can act autonomously on manufacturing data, but only if that data has been given the context, relationships, and governed rules that allow an agent to reason correctly.
This director owns the engineering that moves customers onto Adaptive streamlined. Many customers carry years of custom code. Lynx is QAD's tooling, built on AWS’ ATX, that analyzes existing customizations and supports their conversion to approaches compatible with Adaptive streamlined. The Extensions Platform is where customers build and run those extensions. This leader owns both, plus the engineering side of the pre-engagement assessment every customer goes through before migrating. It is the most customer-facing engineering leadership role in the transformation.
A repeatable, measurable path to Adaptive streamlined, fewer recurring conversion blockers, and steadily less effort per customer migration.
