The Edge Partnership is seeking an experienced technology leader to build and head a Capital Markets Technology function in India. The role will own development, enhancements and production support for global trading platforms while transitioning ownership from international teams and driving modernization.

You will lead a high-performing engineering organisation, establishing governance, standards and strong stakeholder collaboration across regions to ensure secure, compliant and scalable

Our client, a leading global financial institution, is seeking an experienced technology leader to build and lead its Capital Markets Technology function. This is a rare opportunity to shape a high-performing engineering organisation that will own and deliver critical technology supporting global trading businesses across multiple regions.

Working closely with senior technology and business stakeholders, you will drive the transition of ownership for key Capital Markets platforms while leading technology modernization, operational excellence and organizational growth.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Build and lead a world-class Capital Markets Technology organisation in India.
• Own the development, enhancement and production support of global trading platforms.
• Lead the transition of technology ownership from international teams while ensuring operational stability.
• Drive technology modernization through cloud adoption, automation, APIs and emerging technologies.
• Establish strong engineering governance, delivery standards and production support processes.
• Partner with global business, technology and operations stakeholders across multiple regions.
• Ensure highly resilient, secure and regulatory-compliant technology platforms.
• Develop and mentor senior engineering leaders, building a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

You will be an accomplished technology executive with deep Capital Markets expertise gained within a global investment bank or major financial institution.

You will demonstrate:

• 18+ years' experience in Capital Markets Technology.
• Strong understanding of Rates, FX, Credit and Derivatives technology.
• Experience supporting front-to-back trading platforms including pricing, risk, trade lifecycle and regulatory reporting.
• A proven track record of building and leading large engineering or technology delivery organisations.
• Experience operating within highly regulated global banking environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across global teams.
• A passion for building high-performing technology organisations and driving large-scale transformation.
